Android 4.1.2 update is steadily rolling out for other devices after the release on Nexus 7. The latest devices to receive the Android Jelly Bean update are Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S. With the Android 4.1.2 update still rolling out for devices, Android Police stated that a 4.2 version of the operating system was under development. The Android 4.2 update is expected to feature ‘Quick Settings’ menu referring to notification power controls for radios, brightness and other custom rows applications.

The successor of Android 4.1.2 update is also rumoured to feature a revamped version of Google mail application. Android 4.2 is alleged to introduce changes which will help in the accessibility of the notifications and power controls in the hour of need on an Android operated system.
