Uncovered: Google creating a “Nexus Call Center” for device support



A new job finding suggests that Google is trying to recruit employees to work in a call
center customer service. More specifically, the list is looking for those who "really like" Android products and consider themselves to be friendly, open and focused on the customer, in addition to being an aficionado Android.'s List does not come directly from Google if, instead, and through a recruiter, staffing Randstand.

This small side, however, the announcement does offer enough of a hint that Google is clearly behind it. Registration notes that the client is confidential, but they will also mention that the client is in Mountain View, California and has recently released a new Android tablet. Based on details from Geek.com, the call center should be fully staffed and operational by the end of the month. And for those who follow later in the Nexus rumors, that sounds like the perfect time for the next (and still not officially announced) next Nexus smartphone.

A call center might be just the proper way that Google needs to take the Nexus brand to the next level. Otherwise, another interesting information from the job is how they say they are looking for someone who has the ability to share information on Android products to include "billing and payments. "

Bottom line here, assuming that this list is the real deal and do not appear to be a big hoax, it could be the beginning of a serious rise in terms of Google pushing hardware sales and support. Something that certainly sounds like it makes sense considering all the rumors about multiple devices Nexus coming this year.
